Thanks for the kind words! I’m a serious knitter but not an experienced pattern designer; perhaps take the pattern to your local yarn shop and ask for assistance? Certainly you could use a bulkier yarn and a larger size needle, but I can’t tell you how much bigger the sweater would be without making a gauge swatch and doing the math. Good luck!
